We all have to start somewhere. The key is starting.

I know Internet Marketing Strategies sounds Greek to the novice or beginning web entrepreneur, but it is not as difficult as it appears. It's not money or time it's knowledge and that is accessible all over the internet for free.

You first priority, and probably most important, is to have a rich content page that is updated frequently with fresh content. THis is very important to keep you viewers returning to your site. You also need to keep the site "sticky", meaning the viewers remain on the site more that a few seconds. Viewers are fickle, they read a few headlines and if you don't grab their interest they hit the back button and keep browsing.

Your second priority is to advertise on a pay per click basis with either google or one of the other search engines. You choose keywords for a specific search which target a specific audience for your ads. This is called Keyword Based Advertising. Click here for the link to Google's Adwords.
